Business Challenge: Help co-ordinate the international aid being provided to Bangladesh at the time of most devastating flood, in 1998, in recent history in Bangladesh. Our Solution : We provided pro bono site design and development services to build a portal that provided timely and accurate information on aid requirements based on hourly information feed from Grameen's country-wide network of micro-credit workers and borrowers. Value Delivered : Helped co-ordinate and channel the aid to the hardest hit areas of Bangladesh; this project allowed foreign donors to stay top on what exactly was required and where, helping them to better target their efforts.
